I specialize in working with adults in blended families.
Through coaching, I help you examine what (or who) is bugging you and getting in the way of the life you dream of for yourself and your family.
We don't stop there. Then I will share with you actions that you can consider taking to create a life you love.

Why Choose Amy as Your Coach?
I am a stepmom. I met my stepkids when they were young. Now they are adults. We still get along. I have over 20 years of stepparent experience. That's lots of highs and lows. Let's call it wisdom.
I am a certified life coach. In addition to my life experience, I invested in training to have the best tools to help you achieve the goals you want.
I'm a mom. I've got two kids. If you're keeping count that's 2 stepkids and 2 kids...for a total of 4. My kids are teenagers. I'm also not brand new to this mom gig and I have the gray hairs to show for it.
I'm a wife. I've been married over 20 years.
My parents were divorced. I have life experience as a child with divorced parents.
In short, I have practical life experience and professional training.
Most important - I get results for my clients.
Chaos to Calm is for you IF ...
Honestly, individualized coaching is not automatically the best choice for every person and every situation.
It's a financial investment. Is it worth it? That's for you to decide. Most of my clients feel that coaching is well worth the cost.
It's a time commitment. Time is a valuable commodity. People who are ready to make the time commitment get the best results. If you do not have the space in your schedule to meet on the phone or by zoom for 60 minutes once a week then an on-demand program might be better for you. My coaching packages come in 10 session blocks.
You need to be willing to "get personal." If you are not ready to talk about what is going on in your family coaching will not be helpful.
If you are ready to invest the time, effort and resources then coaching can help you make change rapidly.
The Chaos to Calm Program Gets Results
You may have already tried a lot of things. How can you know that this will actually help? It's a reasonable question.
The idea for the original framework of chaos to calm came from Amy's examination of her own experiences.
Amy's next step was to research if her experiences were similar to what other stepparents went through. To do this hundreds of adults in blended families were surveyed to determine the most common struggles.
From there through a lot of reflection Amy created her list of 10 lessons learned in 20 years as a stepmom. Then 7 action steps to create happiness. Most important working with real-life people to examine the situations apply the process and get real results.
If you have more questions the next step is a consultation call.
A tested and proven framework that gets results
This is not a cookie-cutter system that I picked up from another source. This is a process that Amy created and tested with real clients to know that it works.
A judgment-free zone
You are working with a trained coach who has her own experience in a blended family and the sensitivity to the situation that comes with working with many people in blended families. My coaching is not a religious or faith-based program.
A private and supportive relationship
When it's time to talk about our families it's nice to have a private space to do this. Individualized coaching is just you and me with nobody else in the conversation.
Results-oriented coaching
My coaching is designed to help you achieve a result. You determine what you want to work towards. Less drama, less conflict, more security, more happiness are all real things worth working towards.
What Clients Say
These are actual statements from coaching clients. There are no photos or names just because I try to honor my client's privacy.

I started working with Amy when I was blending my family and I didn't know what to do. Amy helped me know what was my lane (and what wasn't), how rules can be flexible, and how to have important conversations to state my needs. She is very calm and very knowledgeable about parenting and relationships. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is navigating step-parenting and blending a family. She takes out the scary so it feels fun again.

Coaching with Amy was helpful because she offered me practical tips to help me feel confident in starting and having conversations that I wanted to have with people in my family. I feel calmer knowing that I have these tools and I’m not anxious about the results.

In the beginning working with Amy felt like I wanted urgent help. Now I feel calm. I see that I was first working on surface situations but coaching with Amy gave me the tools to go deeper.
